Fertility problems among couples are highly emotional and often lead to break-up of many marriages in society. This is why the sponsors of this week’s episode, Globacom, has chosen to be associated with the Television drama.
According to a press statement issued by Globacom, the episode, entitled Childless Wives, seeks to bring to the fore the agony of women who face fertility challenges in their marriages.
Globacom said that “Childless Wives goes beyond the issue of infertility to expose the reasons why ‘child-harvesting’ centres, otherwise known as baby factories, exist and the negative roles of in-laws in marriages that are challenged by infertility”.
It further notes that answers to questions such as: What is responsible for their plight? How do they cope with the situation? What are the roles of the regular characters such as Ime Bishop, Queen Nwokoye, and Osita Iheme in the episode? will be answered.
The drama, whose lead act is Kanayo O. Kanayo, will also profer answers to what the public should do concerning the plight of women who find it difficult to bear children. Viewers will also find answers to the blame game against women as the cause of infertility in relationships
