Organisers of the Africa Tech Alliance Forum (AfriTECH) have announced Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Redtech Limited, Emmanuel Ojo; Chief Technology Officer of Digital Encode Limited, Obadare Oluwafemi Johnson; and Founder and Group President of ActivEdge Technologies, George Agu, as keynote speakers.
AfriTECH 6.0 scheduled to hold on November 13, 2026, at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, is backed by Digital Encode Limited, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), ActivEdge Technologies, Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN), Digital Realty, AfriGopay Financial Services, and Tizel Cybersecurity and Tecom.
The three senior technology and business executives will bring perspectives spanning financial technology, cybersecurity, enterprise technology, investment and digital infrastructure to the forum, which will convene policymakers, investors, technology executives, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders to examine the opportunities and structural challenges shaping Africa’s digital economy.
Holding under the theme, “The Next $1 Trillion Opportunity: Building Africa Through Technology,” AfriTECH 6.0 will examine the infrastructure, investment, policy and innovation priorities required to translate the continent’s digital potential into sustainable economic growth.
Emmanuel Ojo brings more than 20 years of experience across telecommunications, financial services, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and investments.
As CEO and Managing Director of Redtech Limited, he leads the company’s strategic expansion across financial technology and energy technology. Before joining Redtech, Ojo served as CEO of Chamsswich, where he oversaw business growth, product development and improvements to the company’s technology infrastructure.
CTO of Digital Encode Limited, Obadare Oluwafemi Johnson, brings a cybersecurity and digital resilience perspective to the forum.

Over more than a decade, he has conducted over 300 penetration tests, trained more than 100 organisations and delivered upwards of 3,000 hours of cybersecurity workshops. His work has also included forensic training for the Nigeria Police Force and fraud and incident management engagements that have reportedly saved clients more than $3.5 million.
Founder and Group President of ActivEdge Technologies, George Agu, completes the keynote lineup with more than two decades of experience in the African technology industry.
Since establishing ActivEdge Technologies in 2010, Agu has led the company’s development into a pan-African technology organisation with operations across five African countries and clients in financial services, oil and gas, telecommunications, manufacturing and the public sector.
Before founding ActivEdge, he served as Managing Director and CEO of Neptune Software, West Africa, where he led the sales and implementation of core banking systems across several banks in Eastern and Southern Africa.

Their participation reflects the forum’s intention to bring together expertise from across the technology, telecommunications, financial services and enterprise ecosystems.
Addressing the barriers to Africa’s digital growth
Africa’s digital economy continues to attract investment, support new technology businesses and expand digital financial services. However, infrastructure gaps, regulatory fragmentation and limited access to capital remain significant constraints on the scale and sustainability of this growth.
AfriTECH 6.0 seeks to create a platform for direct engagement among policymakers, investors and industry operators on how to address these challenges and build the infrastructure, platforms and businesses required to support the continent’s next phase of economic development.
Commenting on the sixth edition, Co-Convener of the Africa Tech Alliance Forum, Chike Onwuegbuchi, said: “For five years, AfriTECH has been a room where the real conversations happen. With this sixth edition, we are raising the ambition. The trillion-dollar question is not rhetorical, it is a challenge we are asking every person in that room to help answer with precision, with honesty, and with actionable direction.”
AfriTECH has, across its previous editions, convened senior executives from banking, fintech, telecommunications and technology companies, alongside regulators, policymakers, founders, investors and media professionals.
The event will also host the Africa Tech Alliance Excellence Awards (ATAEx), which recognises organisations, founders and industry leaders whose contributions are advancing Africa’s technology, telecommunications, fintech and broader digital economy.
AfriTECH 6.0 is co-convened by the Africa Tech Alliance Forum and the TechCastle Foundation, with media platform support from Techeconomy.
AfriTECH 6.0 is open to partners, sponsors, delegates, and press. Organisations wishing to explore partnership or exhibition opportunities, or to secure delegate places, are invited to make contact with the organising team directly.
