The CIO & C-Suite Awards Africa has announced the official Call for Nominations for its 2025 edition, now expanded to include participation from 15 African countries. This prestigious platform continues to celebrate visionary leaders driving innovation, transformation, and impact across sectors through the strategic use of technology and enterprise leadership.
Now in its 6th year, the Awards have evolved into a truly pan-African initiative that honors outstanding Chief Information Officers, CTOs, CDOs, as well as other C-Suite Executives, and senior digital leaders who are shaping the future of their industries. For the 2025 edition, nominations are being welcomed from across Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ghana, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Togo, South Africa, Angola, Zambia, Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt. This expansion underscores a strong commitment to recognizing excellence and leadership across the continent, fostering collaboration, and inspiring the next generation of innovators.

Nominations have opened across a wide range of sectors, including education, other financial institutions, fintech, media, telecommunication, technology services, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), banking, agriculture, aviation, public and social services, energy and health. These categories reflect the diversity and dynamism of the African business landscape, and the Awards aim to celebrate leaders making a measurable impact in these fields.
All nominations will be reviewed by a distinguished jury comprising respected industry leaders and subject matter experts. The awards process receives technical support from Deloitte Nigeria, while KPMG Nigeria serves as independent assurance partner, ensuring transparency, credibility, and alignment with global best practices. Nominees will be evaluated based on innovation, leadership, impact, and strategic alignment with business goals.
Nominations are open to the public. Organizations, peers, and industry stakeholders are encouraged to submit nominations for professionals who exemplify exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and a commitment to digital transformation within their organizations and sectors.
Nominations for the CIO & C-Suite Awards, which started on June 2, 2025, will continue through August 31, 2025.
