The highly anticipated Titans of Tech Conference and Exhibition (TOTCE) is set to take place on July 26 and 27, 2024, marking a significant milestone as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. This year’s event promises to be more impactful than ever, with the unveiling of the new book, “50 Most Influential ICT Innovators in Nigeria,” as a key highlight. The book, commemorating two decades of the conference, shines a spotlight on the trailblazers shaping the ICT landscape in Nigeria today.

Lead Consultant at Tech TV, organisers of the event, Don Pedro Aganbi, emphasised the importance of this milestone event. “The Titans of Tech Conference aims to convene top thought leaders, industry experts, professionals, CEOs, and presidents of various industry associations, along with relevant government agencies,” he said. “This platform was initiated to bring together the most influential players in the African ICT markets to exchange ideas and drive the ICT agenda for optimal good.”

Aganbi further explained that TOTCE serves as a platform for organisations to showcase emerging innovative products and solutions, engage with government and relevant agencies to promote the widespread deployment of digital technologies, and highlight investment opportunities in the tech sector. The conference aims to attract investors and create opportunities for strategic alliances and partnerships, expanding ICT networks in Nigeria and Africa.

The theme for the 2024 conference, “Tech for Good,” emphasises leveraging technology to address societal challenges. “Government, organisations, and individuals can use technology to develop solutions for pressing social and economic issues such as healthcare accessibility, education inequality, poverty alleviation, and infrastructure protection,” Aganbi noted.

He also highlighted the conference’s role in shaping the future of Africa’s digital economy. “Today presents the opportune moment to begin constructing our future by leveraging appropriate policies, fostering collaborations, and harnessing the potential of 5G, AI, IoT, solar energy, and Blockchain to secure our country’s economic future,” Aganbi said.

The 20th anniversary celebration of the Titans of Tech Conference will feature a series of exciting events over two days, including opening ceremonies, exhibition tours, the Digital Governance Forum, Youth Digital Roundtable, and Fintech Café. The grand finale will be the Titans of Tech Awards, popularly known as the “Tech Industry Grammy,” celebrating the pioneers, innovators, and connectors who are driving technology adoption and usage in Nigeria and across Africa.

This landmark event will receive extensive coverage from both local and international media organisations, ensuring that the achievements and future potentials of Nigeria’s ICT sector are recognised globally.
