Factruse Floats Zig Zag Nation To Empower Youths

Youths in Nigeria can create their world and latch onto opportunities courtesy of an online community platform established by Factruse Nigeria Limited, an innovative system integrator.

The platform, Zig Zag nation, is a highly interactive cyberspace initiative focussed primarily on young demographics between the ages of 15 -35 years, as well as older members of the community.

Founder of Factruse Nigeria, Barr. Obafemi Giwa–Amu, while speaking at a media launch held in Lagos, said that Zig Zag community would serve as an aggregator for commercial oriented persons engaging online, and serve as agents to others with commercial endeavour.

He noted that the platform will represent a crisscross of diverse categories of people in Nigeria, stressing that Zig Zag nation will provide members with endless possibilities.

“Zig Zag Nation is a network of people that would culminate into a nation; an online community platform targeted at youths that promotes social interactions and relationships; a marketplace of active young persons.”

Barr. Giwa-Amu explained that members will engage in human capital enhancing activities, learn new skills, and create pathways to financial empowerment.

Zig Zag Nation provides a scalable platform for talented young Nigerians to have a voice, for social interaction and eCommerce. It also provides identity in line with the financial inclusion policy of the CBN.

Barr. Giwa–Amu added that members of the community would have access to limitless financial inclusion as well as other attendant benefits.

He explained further: “The digital age is one that fuels innovation. Despite the infrastructure deficit in Nigeria, the potential for disruptions, active engagement, and lasting Change cannot be ruled out.

With the Nigerian youth accounting for over 70% of the nation’s population, it becomes necessary to arm the populace with a platform with which positive energy can be channelled to higher productivity, also to leverage communication as a means of engaging in capital enhancing activities. Eventually, these activities should yield financial freedom of economic actors.”

Speaking further on the limitless opportunities for the members of the community, Giwa–Amu said, “Eligible persons for full membership are equipped with a starter pack, comprising of a debit card to aid operations of an e-wallet, a call free SIM card for easy communication with the Zig Zag community.

“Also a Nigerian postal service (NIPOST) locker for warehousing of purchased items would be assigned to members.

“Members would equally have access to a robust e-commerce platform where shopping or international trade is made easy from the comfort of homes, workplaces, schools etc”.

He further explained that ZigZag community is a highly interactive platform and a network of people that would culminate into a nation.

Barr. Giwa–Amu added that active members of the community will benefit from a reward system of scaling order, noting that this is the reason they advanced for partnerships with key companies.

He reiterated that members would engage in human capital enhanced activities, learn new skills and create pathways to financial empowerment.

Chairman, Board of Trustees, Zig Zag Nation, Prince Adebode Adefioye applauded the initiative and noted that it will address the need for financial inclusion in the country.

Members of Zig Zag Nation are given a Starter Pack that includes a NIPOST Address Box,  Branded Payment Card, a platform for commercial activities and a SIM card from one of the leading Nigerian Telcos.

Additional benefits and add ons for members are, free direct calls to other members on Zigzag nation, personal locker or allocated address for receipt of goods and services, substitution of traditional bank accounts, redeemable reward on accrued points and more.
