Smart City Trade Fair To Stir Up Tech Enthusiasts In Lagos

Lagos State is set to play host to the Smart City Trade Fair billed to hold between October 17 and 19, 2024 at the NIgav Event Centre, in Ikeja.

Organised by Smart City Mall Africa Limited, the fair aims to showcase innovative solutions for transforming cities into sustainable, efficient, and livable spaces. The event will provide a platform for tech enthusiasts, urban planners, and policymakers to explore the latest advancements in smart city technology.

Managing Director of Smart City Mall Africa Limited, Joshua Oshowo, emphasized the importance of the fair in realising Lagos State’s vision of a city free from gridlock, powered by clean energy, and offering public services tailored to citizen needs.

“As urbanization accelerates, creating sustainable and efficient cities becomes crucial,” Oshowo stated, stressing that Smart cities leverage technology to improve everything from public safety to transportation.

Key highlights of the Smart City Trade Fair include:
