Airtel Nigeria, has been recognized for its dedication towards the advancement of technology in Nigeria by the Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC). The award was presented to Airtel at WTEC’s 15th Anniversary dinner in Lagos.
W.TEC, a notable beneficiary of Airtel’s corporate social responsibility initiative, Touching Lives Season 6, applauded the telecommunication company’s significant contribution towards fostering opportunities for women and girls in the tech sector, revealing that the charity’s programs have impacted over 3,672 individuals since Airtel’s intervention.
Chief Executive Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Carl Cruz, in response to the gesture by W.TEC, expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the company’s objective of driving technological advancements and empowering women in technology.
